Project Overview: KFC Albimix
Albimix Foods is a KFC franchisee that forms part of the YUM! Brands Group, with 8 stores across Gauteng. As one of Jem’s legacy clients, they started off with our On-Demand Pay solution. When Jem launched Payslips and Communications, Albimix Food’s innovative HR and Payroll team were one of the first of our Clients to adopt these systems for their frontline employees.
Challenges
- Before Jem, Albimix’s Head Office was emailing payslip
files to store managers who would then print them
in-store and distribute them to their teams. This cost
the company ±R57,600/year. - For communication, KFC Albimix relied on in-person
meetings to relay information. With employees on leave
and arriving late for meetings, it was hard for the HR team
to control what information was dispersed across the
business.
- Due to their communication challenges, the KFC Albimix
HR team was receiving 60+ payslip, policy and promotion
queries a month from employees, and spent 40 hours
processing them.
